Bequest Language

A bequest can be established with a provision in your will.   Below is language that can be used in your will.

Percentage of Estate language

“I give, devise and bequeath to Yampa Valley Community Foundation, a Colorado nonprofit public benefit corporation, currently located at 465 Anglers Drive, Suite 2G Steamboat Springs, CO (Mailing address:  P.O. Box 881869, Steamboat Springs, CO 80488) with federal tax ID 840794536, and its successors and assignees, ______________% of my estate, to be used for its general purposes or ________________________________________ .

Residual Bequest language

 “I give, devise and bequeath to Yampa Valley   Community Foundation, a Colorado nonprofit    public benefit corporation, currently located at 465 Anglers Drive, Suite 2G Steamboat Springs, CO (Mailing address:  P.O. Box 881869, Steamboat Springs, CO 80488) with federal tax ID 840794536, and its successors and assignees, all the residue of my estate, to be used for its general purposes or ________________________________________ .

Specific Bequest language
