Grant Making Guidelines
The Yampa Valley Community Foundation will be returning to two grant rounds per year. The deadline will be March 15, 2010 for the first Grant round including the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation Recreation and Environmental Grants. Recipients will be announced in early June. Grants are available for any nonprofit organization in Routt or Moffat County that falls within the following areas: Environment, Education, Health & Human Services, Recreation or Art & Culture. The second round will have a deadline of September 15, 2010 with funding announced in early December. The SS&RC Recreation funds will be granted in both rounds. The SS&RC Environmental funds will only be granted in the first round.
Organizations that received funding in August 2009 will still be eligible to apply for the first grant round. If the funds have been used by March, an application will be welcome. If the funding was provided for a summer program or another project that has not yet been completed, please wait until September to submit an application. A grant evaluation will be due prior to any application.
