Initiative Funds

The Community Indicators Project Report produced by Yampa Valley Partners (entire report can be found at www.yampavalleypartners.com) was initiated to document quality of life in the Yampa Valley through social, economic, environmental, and civic measurements.  The report revealed several areas of special need in the Valley. The Community Foundation selected five areas and created Initiative Funds to directly address these needs.

·   Prenatal Care Fund:  Prenatal care for low income women

·   Early Prevention Fund:  Alcohol, drug and early sex prevention

·   Vocational Scholarship Fund:  Annual scholarships for students in the Yampa Valley

·   Hardship Fund:  Scholarships for low income preschool children

·   Recreation Scholarship Fund:  For at-risk youth for out of school activities

We invite you to make a donation in support of tangible programs and organizations that provide needed services in our valley.
